I got on the dirt bike, flew like an eagle and went splat like a cow patty in dirt. Broke my wrist so i went to Australia to get it fixed up. Before our return to South Africa we decided not to go through with the overland trip up to Kenya as it can be dangerous due to crime and i will not be at full capacity for some time due to limited arm movement.
I have never backed down from a challenge, have been through some dangerous places but not this time.
Dogtor Jack has offered to take our dogs into his pack.

What do you do when you come home from 10 years travelling? Unpack, then pack up and leave again. We are going to drive around the Island.

1 - if goats are herded onto the road into your path, do not stop, it may be an ambush, run them over
2 - if you find a body lying on the road, do not stop, it is probably a dead body dragged out from the bush to be reused as an ambush ploy
3 - if an egg hits, splatters and dries on your windscreen you would usually, stop, get out and clean it off. Uh'huh, not in Africa, it is probably an ambush.
Not joking-we take all precautions. We are heading down the road with goat skulls stuck onto spikes on the front of the truck, a half dead guy's legs bouncing in the dirt as he holds on to the front bumper and me leaning out the window wearing a paintball mask for an egg shield. To where we are going i do not know, but i know we must go.
